Hello!
I’ve got great news for all you Forex Megadroid users. The megadroid developers have released a new version – v1.30 to be specific.
The improvements are:
1) a small fix to the AutoGMTOffset feature
2) improvements to the strategy (I can’t wait to see how the new improvements perform!)
3) improved DLL access speed
4) a small fix to the Journal tab messages
*Note: No reason to download manual. Pdf. manual is still 1.21*
It would be good idea to remove both original files and install new.
Also from the MegaDroid people:
“Beginning next week, older versions of Megadroid will
display warning messages regarding the update and
shortly, older versions will cease to function so ensure
that you have the latest version running at all times.
This is especially important if you run Megadroid via
one of the many VPS services.”
So make sure you upgrade if you haven’t already!
By the way Forex MegaDroid is one of the few commercial forex robots that I 100% recommend – I’ve been using it on two live accounts with great success! If you want to find out more details about Forex MegaDroid or get your own copy I invite you to hop on over to their homepage. See the link below:

hello alan, i am a green bean as far forex stuff. i heard about forex just few months ago, purchased a MD robot almost 3 weeks ago, smiley face is on, tester was great but it never make a trade on demo acct until today. hope you could help me :
1. my demo acct is lite forex, spread 2 pip. is this the problem?
2. i live in indonesia GMT + 7. what should i put for the GMT offset (i try both manual and auto still no trade)
3. what is your recommendation for the broker if i use a robot? even alpari has some bad comments
many many thanks …. jon
It’s most likely the broker. MD is sensitive to spread during the Asian trading session and if your broker widens the spread during that time MD will just NOT trade (see the Journal and Expert Advisors tabs, you probably will notice a “safe spread limit exceeded” error or multiple)
I’d suggest trying a different broker. As far as which is best, well it depends on who you talk to. Although from my own experience I get the impression that the best are low spread ECN brokers such as ATC Brokers, MB Trading, and surprisingly FXPro.
Leave the GMT offset stuff to AUTO!
