Hello fellow FapTurbo traders. This post is going to be very brief and to the point. I wanted to give you a bit of advice regarding one pair you should NOT trade with fapturbo. As you may know one of the fapturbo scalper pairs happens to be USD/CAD. I am suggesting that you stop trading this pair.
In my forward tests I’ve found that this pair is not all that profitable. The stop loss gets too often and as a result all the previous small (stop loss if by far larger than the take profit) wins are wiped away.
Here is one example loss:

I’ve got more but I think you get the picture. Bottom line is that the frequency with which the stop loss has been hit on this pair is too high for my comfort. Hence I decided to no longer trade this pair.
The sad thing is that in the beginning this pair used to be profitable for me. Could it be the broker? I’m not so sure (by the way, I’m using IBFX which admittedly is not the best broker to use with FapTurbo). Others have been saying the exact same thing as me on the FapTurbo forum.
Speaking of the fapturbo forum, if you’re an fapturbo newbie I strongly suggest you join the fapturbo community there as you can get free support. Feel free to ask away your fapturbo related questions. Out of the thousands of members someone is bound to know the answer!

I have been trading the USDCAD live with FapTurbo “Long only” on Alpari. It made some great trades long in the last 2 weeks but got nailed on the last two long trades and I turned it off for good last night after that. Bitten twice in a row and wasn’t looking forward to a third bite! Basically I gave away all the profits I made with it and a tiny bit more. Still up about 30% overall for the last 2 weeks trading with it Live. I backtested it heavily “long only” and it avoided most of all the big loosing sell trades. I also forward tested it “long only” for a while before going live.
Based on your post you got nailed going short. It not not broker related either. It happened on 4 other demo accounts that I was running too! STAY AWAY FROM USDCAD trades with FapTurbo!
Yeah you’re right, I can’t blame the broker. This is purely the fault of the fapturbo scalper.

i am fapturbo user,,i use FXopen broker,,its good for fapturbo?? about USDCAD,,yes i think is not safe,easy going to lost,,i use fapturbo V51,and may i know if i increase deposit to usd5000,,,the lots open will be increase too?? currently now my deposit is usd1300,,so each trading only open lots at usd1/pips,,daily i earn usd20-50,,so if i increase deposit to usd5000,,,its mean profit will be double than before??any suggestion from you??

To be honest I haven’t used FXopen with Fapturb before. I do know that the lower the spread on the currency pairs fapturbo trades the better.
Make sure you update to fapturbo 52! It was just released a few days ago. This time around I think they’ve fixed the issue with usd/cad not performing. So far usd/cad is working ok for me – unlike before.
Yes if you were to add more to your account fapturbo would increase the size of its trades because it has a bigger account to work with. Let’s say you have your LotRiskReductor at 5%. That means that fapturbo will risk 5% of your account per currency pair so if you now have $5000 instead of say $500 then naturally 5% of $5000 is a larger amount than 5% of $500. Thus because the lot sizes it will use are now bigger on a $5000 account it means that each loss or wining trade will naturally be larger.
