UPDATE:
Forex Megadroid’s price is going up to US $149 on Friday, January 22nd, 2010 – Get it before the price goes up!
UPDATE: I just bought this forex robot (here is the “official announcement”) and I’ve also just published the first performance testing results update over here.
UPDATE: For the second performance update go here now!
Have any of you guys heard much about this Forex MegaDroid forex robot? I’ve been receiving e-mails from the usual promoters promising the moon with this forex robot. For example:
Today you’re about to learn WHY a Forex robot can actually see into the
immediate future with an unheard of accuracy rate: 95.82%
The developers of Forex MegaDroid have taken it upon themselves to
push things further… much further …and they’ve certainly achieved their
objective:
==> Over l00% Net proflt per month, every month… complete autopilot
robot trading.
The supposed developers are two guys by the name of Albert Perrie and John Grace. I’ve never heard of these people and I wonder if they’re even real persons or just aliases.
The robot itself is said to be based on some RCPTA technology. I have no clue as to what this RCPTA tech is – do you? If so let me know.
UPDATE: I found out at least what RCPTA means. It’s actually called Reverse Correlated Time And Price Analysis (RCTPA) theory. What it DOES I’m not sure yet, but will soon find out.
I signed up for their “early bird” VIP mailig list so I will post more details about this forex robot as I receive them.
Until next time,
Happy trading!
Alan

Yeah I did hear about and I’m still puzzled with what they had claimed. We do know FABTurbo forex and now we have another player who say’s their robout is a AI.
If you read a review on auto forex then you would know that it’s all played upon meta. I dont know about this system yet but i’s really big thing if it does what it claims to be. But still better get a review about this product first then we’ll know what exac it’s about.
March 30th, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Its difficult to see or even find out if this meta trader advisor could be AI. No one and certainly no software can ever ’see’ into the future and no what event will come next or when the market will change from trending to swing etc. I expect an advisor can be a little more predictive as long as it is restricted to very short term trades. That would need fine spreads and good timing to offset the number of trades and costs involved.
The marketing machine talks about the hughe accuracy and breakthrough achieved but as with all the other similar products pushed to get a truely independent expert test who has access to teh programme code and real (not demo test) trade data is nigh on impossible.
I find it surprising that this or any other seller dont restrict their offering by trading as a managed programme and take the 20% performance fee. That would maximize their revenue but mean the product must deliver day by day in the real world.

To comment #1:
Well, I may purchase it like I do typically and review it, but I have a lot on my plate at the moment. I haven’t decided at this point.
To comment #2:
I hear you Michael. I too am skeptical. I have found a few “AI” expert advisors available freely on the net but none of them perform really well. Also as you say if the robot is so good why offer it to us in the first place, why not offer a managed account setup as you say.
It would be nice if they setup a test LIVE account and post the results as the FapTurbo guys did.
Personally I think the right way of offering a successful automated trading system to the public is via a monthly subscription. The only other commerical “artificial intelligence” forex trading system that I know of comes from a company called “Bogie Enterprises” The guy behind it won the ATC 2007 (annual expert advisor trading championship) with his EAs.
See this link for details:
http://alansforexblog.com/2008/08/23/bogie-nn-v8b-expert-advisor-test-results/
So like I said I think the guy at Bogie Enteprises is doing it right. You can subscript to the EA for as long as it continues to make a profit for you. With forex megadroid you can ask for a refund within 60 days but what if the trading system stops working 61 days after the refund period..
So anyways, before I start rambling on and on I’d just like to kindly ask that if any of you end up buying this product to please share your performance results over at my forex nirvana forum.
Please post it in the commercial trading systems section over. In fact there appears to a thread already there. Here is the direct link:

Forex Megadroid is being hyped so heavily it’s insane! I have received multiple emails over the last few days from at least 10 other forex EA and other forex websites that have my email trying to market this to me. When you do web searches it all over the place. lots of people are trying take advantage and make a profit on this in every way possible. Lots of people will be buying this no matter if it works or not, their marketing is extremely slick. It’s getting at least 3x plus the coverage of the recent”Surfire Trading” package that was so heavily hype and sold out multiple times according to Mark McRae (Surefire Marketer) who has aslo been marketing MegaDroid to his customer base and trying to cash in on the MegaDroid affilate dollars. The Fapturbo Guys are marketing it heavily too, they can sure stand to make a huge amount in affiliate $$$ if 1/2 of their customer base (huge email list of people that bought their EA) buys it and that’s a real possibility based on the hype on this one.
Here is the Forex MegaDroid Affiliate Website I found: http://forex-megadroid.com/jv-details.html highly organized.
So what happens when all these people who buy this start using this on the same broker to place trades? Over saturation is my feeling based on the amount of hype. Hopefully they have some kind of magic in place to handle all the users and stay profitable.
If its soooo good and has such great results why don’t they sell it for way more money Say $500 to $1000 to limit the user base or create a monthly fee like so of the others posters mentioned?
I am feeling pump and dump here! Their interests seem to be to make as much $$$ from the little guy who is seeking an opportunity and retire. They might have seen that the short term potential is much more profitable than the long term potential because it doesn’t pan out in projections.
They are teasing people but not giving out any real info. They have been very strict in limiting the info that is released. What pairs does it trade? Any live results? What’s the down draw? What’s the risk reward? What hour’s does it trade? etc. etc.
I don’t want to be so skeptical but I have seen this many many time over throughout my life. The marketing techniques just get better and better and in the end you are the one out of your money.
I hope my feeling are not true and this is not too good to be true. I hope today’s webinar quells my fears on this and it is revolutionary and works for a while for everyone that buys it and they make some money.
That’s my 2 pips on this. We will soon find out more.
Thanks Alan for doing all that you do! You run an awesome bunch of forums and blogs! Keep up the great work. I learn so much from your blog and forum post.
Sincerely,
FTrader1

I think sooner or later if the dealing desk brokers starting losing a lot of money cause of this EA they’ll just ban it like some brokers have done with FapTurbo for example.
If they sold it for $500 to $1000 their potential customer base would be a LOT smaller – the idea I think is to try to appeal to the masses and thus they have to keep it affordable.
It could be a pump and dump as you say. The last pump and dump that I got stuck with was some EA called Silicon Forex – what a piece of garbage EA that was. But anyways, yeah it could be as you say.
Oh btw in regard to the webinar see this post:

Thanks for the praise FTrader1…I’m glad you find my forums/blogs useful!

I’m not sure about this robot. Watching the video, it seems the two ‘actors’ are reading a script and appear to be over acting anyway. Lets see what happens
April 1st, 2009 at 6:18 am
I bought it. hasnt traded yet.
sketchy even on the site
1. WHAT PAIRS IT TRADES
2. NO LIVE DATA
3. What is it grid system, scalper, etc. it was only after i purchased that i found out buried in the manual that its eurusd 1hr.
4. Sessions? what times?
theres more unanswered questions than answered questions and only the coming days will tell. could be skewed with the G20 meeting and any volatility in markets.
doesnt seem limited to one machine? registration is by putting the clickbank receipt in the EA
Might be like another robot selling for $4,500 that claimed to be the ducks nuts of EAS the sic. Omega one (cant remember), and had a return of 3% $3k profit on testing yet had more than a couple of $1,000 losses!! why t.F&k would you pay $4.5k for something with that much variability in profit.
April 1st, 2009 at 6:24 am
ok tried other pairs and only works on EURUSD 1hr
April 1st, 2009 at 6:48 am
Yes, it only work on EUR/USD 1H…hey btw, here is a backtest:
http://www.forexnirvana.com/showthread.php?t=421&page=2
I asked him to do a more extensive backtest so hopefully that will be posted soon.
April 2nd, 2009 at 10:13 am
purchased Forex Megadroid on the 31st of March. Havent’ had any trades so far!!! According to support team this is normal. DID ANYONE OF YOU HAD ANY TRADES SO FAR? PRFITABLE?
ONE IMPORTANT THING: IT ONLY TRADES DURING ASIAN SESSION around 22 p.m. GMT for one or two hours only. It changes then from “waiting” to “running”. Do you agree? Watch it during these times… So it is very very similar to fapturbo regarding trading hours times (I think 2 hours is the maximum or even only one hour). I have the similar times in my backtest which is really good by the way (fxpro)
April 2nd, 2009 at 10:48 am
I don’t think that’s entirely correct there. It should trade during ALL trading sessions not just the Asian. Are you getting this from the users manual, or?
April 2nd, 2009 at 11:10 am
no not from the manual, i just noticed that according to the backtest all trades werde made during asian session. On my live (!) account I did it went from “waiting” to “running” around 22 or 23 pm for one or two hours. That’s what I noticed, nohing more
April 2nd, 2009 at 11:24 am
hmm..interesting…so it trades sort of like fapturbo then..
Would you be able to post a screenshot of it active during those hours (one right when it activates and one right after it switches to “waiting)…
Please post it at this thread:

with GMT offset automatic hence “correct” ,no trades, iam on FxPro.”
quoted from a post on forex nirvana
April 2nd, 2009 at 11:33 am
i will do it
i am on fxpro as well. NO TRADES SO FAR! But according to support team this is normal…
April 2nd, 2009 at 12:25 pm
Has anyone of you had already some trades with ForexMegadroid? Demo or live? I am on Fxpro (live) and Alpari (demo. NO TRADES so far!
I am looking forward to your answers.
April 2nd, 2009 at 3:11 pm
Ok, great…much appreciated Jakob. See you on the forum.
April 2nd, 2009 at 3:41 pm
Mine traded last night for a few hours during the Asian session and took a 7 pip profit.
Has anyone looked into their money management?
I presume setting the lot size = 0 should let the system figure out the optimal size accord to the defined risk. Please comment.
April 2nd, 2009 at 3:54 pm
Hey Erik
Which one is broker? FXPRO? Thx
April 2nd, 2009 at 3:58 pm
I use IBFX.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:12 pm
Erik,
Interesting that you had one profitable trade on April 2. I had a 52 pip loss? On one hand, I would prefer to have had a profit, but on the other hand, perhaps this is a good sign in that all trades are not identical (?). I’m with FXOpen, and the sell position opened at 01:55 on April 2 at 1.3247, and closed at 09:14 same day at 1.3299. My GMT offset is 3.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:17 pm
Doug did you make sure you have the correct GMT setting and that you took into account DST (daylight saving time) if applicable to your broker?
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:41 pm
ForexMegadroid sets the right GMT time automatically. The DST time is only necessary if you do a backtest. In case of fxpro for example GMT offset (automatic) is 3. For backtest it is 2 (3-1; GMToffset: 2; if you dont backtest it is set to 0, dont touch this if you dont backtest!). So it has nothing to do with DST or GMT running Megadroid. They are right, coz ForexMegadroid makes it right automatically.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:42 pm
just read the manual…. READ it before (!) you run it on your account…
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:52 pm
megadroid is totally bullshit !!! worst EA actually on the market.. its been running the whole week with no trades ..0 trades!! and if it trade it makes only 7 pips ,,loool.. ive ask for money back..
April 4th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
I’m on the brink of asking for money back.
Not because it hasn’t traded in a week (which it hasn’t for me) but because there is something fishy/culty about how the support team respond to requests for help. They refer you to their ‘records’ of successful trades as though you must be stupid or have a duff broker or something instead of actually accepting and resolving the problem.
Ohh well, there are plenty more EA’s out there that work ok, Pipzu, Forex Rising etc etc, The AI claims are obviously BS anyway, Megadroid is all starting to look a bit like a rip off exercise. Lets see if the money back promise comes true???
April 4th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
HJB I can’t really comment on their support as I don’t own this EA, but I can tel you that you WILL get a refund, just don’t be silly and ask a refund from the forex megadroid developers…You gotta ask ClickBank for a refund and you WILL get it – I guarantee it.
Good luck with other EAs…
April 4th, 2009 at 7:12 pm
right,
FOR REFUND
just get in contact with clickbank and not meagadroid support etc.
at clickbank (look at your receipt there is a website indicated) there is even a button “ask for refund” and the refund will be processed automatcially. It takes some days but you WILL get it.
many people don’t get the refund because they are not able to read. The contact the vendor itself…which of course in most case does not respond at all….
April 5th, 2009 at 12:50 am
Support has published result of a traded account. It is quite impressive. Anyway, we will keep our fingers crossed and see for ourselves this new week for the performance. Not selective trading as witnessed this week.
April 6th, 2009 at 7:12 am
II bought mine on the first of April and until now no trades. Do you have to have a certain balance for it to work? I am willing to wait and see afer a while ask for a refund if it does not live up.
April 6th, 2009 at 7:33 am
fxking did you check the “Journal” and “Experts” tab to make sure there are no errors preventing the EA from running?
I don’t believe you have to have a minimum balance – the EA is supposed to automatically figure out the proper lot size based on your balance and risk level setting.
April 6th, 2009 at 4:00 pm
I did all of that and no errors detected. Any more suggestions wold be great. Nothing on the demo either.
April 6th, 2009 at 4:06 pm
Did you make sure to copy the forexdroid.dll file in the “libraries” folder of your MT4 install? This is all in the user guide btw…
April 6th, 2009 at 5:47 pm
All that is in place so i’ll just wait and see.
April 6th, 2009 at 5:50 pm
Hmm, odd…yeah wait a bit longer and see if it opens any trades and if it still does not open any trades try a different demo platform (fresh install) If that fails e-mail megadroid’s support..
April 6th, 2009 at 6:01 pm
Thanks admin.
April 6th, 2009 at 6:38 pm
Hey guys, I hate to be frank, I DID make some money yesterday with this megadroid robot, just a little bit but it was slightly more than the cost of the robot, so I got back my investment. I am seeing the potential with it. You must know how to set it well, play around for a while. This thing does work. Seriously the less people buy this, the less competition I have. Haha
April 6th, 2009 at 7:14 pm
Brian thats great…can you please publish your settings so i can ajust mine to match yours.
April 7th, 2009 at 2:29 am
Had two profitable trades today on fxpro. FOREXMEGADROID WORKS GREAT so far.
April 7th, 2009 at 5:06 am
Finally I had two profitable trades today.
April 7th, 2009 at 5:09 am
Congrats fxking…I wish you the best of luck with your trading!
April 7th, 2009 at 5:33 pm
Quick question: Am i being a bit silly.. my trades opened at the same prices as most people last night (around 11pm BST). Many of you who made a profit managed to have your trades close at 1.3440ish. But according to my charts, the market never trading that high.. but you are all showing some profit. Luckily i closed out the trades manually as I doubted the market could reach that high (and I was right). Can someone explain how the positions were closed at a price which never traded????
April 8th, 2009 at 1:57 am
I have had few good trades …i think its promising…it does not trade often dont expect anything friday, sunday or holidays. Be patient.
April 8th, 2009 at 6:17 am
I had three profitable trades today. MegaDroid works so far; lets hope the trend is maintained.
April 8th, 2009 at 12:36 pm
i have been on practice for a week, 500 bank, in practice mode, made 3 trades, all profit, total 43$
the trades were yesterday and today, around the same time interestingly
im in practice for a month
hard to get any response from the supposed service centre
interestingly i googled the two founders and got nothing except the bot
i thought 20 years in the industry you would warrant a mention somewhere…..
it seemed to take about three days to look like it was working properly
ill be watching to morrow morning
wish me luck
April 8th, 2009 at 1:02 pm
I personally don’t think those two “professionals with 20 years in the industry” are real – they’re just aliases, and that 20 years of experience is just a plain lie.
Let’s face it people, they are trying to SELL you something and they will say anything to get you at least try their product. In the end I suggest you judge their whole operation only by the performance of the product because all the other details could be big stinking lies.
Just my two cents.
April 9th, 2009 at 2:19 pm
still total of just three trades, none yesterday or this morning, my time when the others have happened
save yourself the postage stamp for customer service, they just refer you to statements , showing everyone is making more than me, ehich isnt a lot anyway
maybe tomorrow………
April 9th, 2009 at 4:48 pm
I purchased the MegaDroid this past weekend and have been running it on a live account with forex.com and a demo account with Alpari. So far, the droid has 6 winning trades and 0 losing trades. It’s up about 8% in 3 days so I’m very satisfied thus far. It trades the EUR/USD pair off the 1 hr. chart. It seems to be very efficient with the trades it opens and only seems to open 1 or 2 trades a day. Hopefully it will keep up this momentum but would say for under a hundred bucks its worth a shot!
April 10th, 2009 at 10:15 am
can i ask spencer, for his returns, how many have gone to each account and were the times of action similar
looks like im back to chewing the cud, over the weekend, but i suspect i will lose patience and take the money, for i dont think im making my fortune here.
i have given up approaching customer disservice, for i am becoming tired of seeing igors balance sheet on every website i visit. maybe igor knows the secret….maybe igor is really customer dissservice…….matbe igor is the brains behind the monster we know as forex megadroid
i said a month, so ill give it a month
the rolling stones knew the answer…..

April 14th, 2009 at 2:46 pm
Hi everybody. I bought Megadroid on ‘April Fool’day i.e. 1st April. Installed it into My real Micro Account; FxOpen by the same day.
So far i only had a 2 buy trade(7-4-09)(both @ 7 pips gain)during Asian Session. It’s lucky for me that i’m able to Manually close the second trade before the Market reversed my position and that move surely hit EA Stop Loss which Risk to Reward ratio is bad in my opinion.Stop Loss @ 45 pips for 40,000 lot or USD 4 per pips. If not my real account surely had a Called Margin. Perrgh.
So now i’m going to return and claim back my money. I do not run this EA after that incident no more.
April 16th, 2009 at 3:28 pm
ten out of ten winners for me so far with this (over the past two weeks). Hope it isn’t like fapturbo for me, which lulled me with a string of tiny wins then hit me with a big loss. My broker is Alpari UK
April 16th, 2009 at 11:49 pm
My Megadroid has not traded my demo account since April 9th. Had three winning trades that day. Two winning trades on April 8th. and one winning trade on April 7th. None since.
On my live account I had one losing trade on April 10th which is the day after I set it up. Nothing since. Live account is with FXDD. Demo account was downloaded from ForexMeta.
Has anyone experimented with different settings?
May 1st, 2009 at 8:26 pm
what will happen when the new rules come into effect. the one FIFO is one to worry about with this ea, since there are times that the first in is not always first out.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:00 pm
I am trading this one on my FXDD live account and won back my losses on FabTurbo ! 6 trades 6 wins so far. Today I have changed the settings to LotSize 1.0 and Risk 0.5
To everybody that made no trades : check if Live trading is checked, also in the FXMETA software. Last week I had the ‘problem’ after a power outage at my house that the robot settings were ok, but METAtrader had unchecked the Live trading box (tools/options) so it did nothing at that point. BTW the new rule does not affect Megadroid, it only says if you have 2 trades open it will first close the first trade and then the second, well Megadroid only trades EUR/USD one trade at a time so no worries there.
May 5th, 2009 at 8:29 pm
So far I had had 5 trades 4 of them showed a profit and one hit the stop loss. that one loss took all the profits of the 4 trades and more. I emailed megadroids support to see if they could adjust the robot so that it could try to get mor profits fro the good trades not scalp 7 to 10 pips on winning trades butto get more and I wonder If these support know what they are talking about the keep on parroting the ebook thir product support is horriable I am about ready to ask for a refund
June 2nd, 2009 at 11:47 am
Well, purchased this droid and had it running by Thursday, May 28. Not a trade yet, but it does only trade a few trades a week… (or none at all). I figure 60 days is a good evaluation if it’s worth it, or if I should be doing something else with the $1,000 that I deposited.
Well, I lied…on the 28th it traded at 1.3810 I believe (off the top of my head), but it freaked and sold at only a 1.50 profit. Couldn’t it have waited a bit for it to jump to 1.42 to sell? Sigh.
June 7th, 2009 at 9:14 pm
I have a forex blog about MEgaDroid. And you can read there that I have a lot of trades, but on different broker.
The best ones are FxPro and IBFX.
My blog is forexspy.net
June 9th, 2009 at 12:43 am
Dan, what broker do you have it running on? I heard that FXDD and Alpari are good brokers to use for this EA.
June 15th, 2009 at 11:23 pm
I purchased Megadroid 7 weeks ago, I have set up demo accounts on three different PC’s with different settings and amounts. So far over 25 trades….all winners. I see some are not having lucj with this EA. I know I like to mess with settings to see if I can enhance results. Be careful and only chnage one thing at a time and take notes. Most likely bad results are from a change you made. I see Megadroid likes to get in and made 10 pips and get out. With $500 and some risk factor changes, you can have it up to $2,000 in a month.
I am setting up a live account today with FXDD with $500 to test my demo results. I will try to post updates weekly.
June 19th, 2009 at 1:13 pm
Intrsting Backdating
Similar with the rest of the blogs on here, my backtesting showed similar results for Jan 1st to today
1. Over 80% success
2. Huge Losses as high as $1,600 USD with an opening balance of only 10k
3. With an opening balance of 10K, soon went to 12k, only then to be erroded away to as little as 4k to then close with a balance of 8k (2k down over a 6 month period)
On the back of this testing, which I am very glad I carried out, anybody with any revised settings so the potential stop losses would be similar to average gains ?
In fairness, the last 6 months have seen some tremendous swings in market sentiment, and I hope that with some mothering / supervision the megadroid has potential. On a regualr basis the long/short setting needs to be adjusted to avoid droid errors, and on this basis I have some confidence.
I antiicipate that other users have the same issues, so anybody with a revised setting list that should overcome the problems I have seen during back-testing ?
Cheers, Neil, Manchester
June 23rd, 2009 at 1:38 am
I am running Megadroid v1.11 and I could not get the thing to back test. Followed the instructions word for word, but nothing.
I did get a live account set up, however the demo on another PC went into a trade, but my live account did not. My broker is FXDD, I wonder if something is set up wrong. Anybody no the issue here?
June 23rd, 2009 at 3:31 am
I notice that ForexMeta has an offer to set up your robot “professionally” for $67. Strange that my demo still trades, but my libe account doesn’t. Could somebody make it so that I need to pay $67 to make my Megadroid work? I hope not that would be low.
July 1st, 2009 at 2:53 am
Wow, Megadroid hasn’t traded since Monday 6-23. I wrote them and they said it’s very picky as to not waste your money. Their web site says it can function in all market conditions….so which is it? When it does trade it has been right on, but the long dry spells between are making it hard to depend on it for steady income.

Wednesday July 1 or GMT time July 2nd I had my first LIVE trade fire off. My demo on another fired off forst, but not the live…server difference. I did enter into a trade about 2 minutes later in a better position thought. Made 10 pips and it exited. Glad it works.
However megadroid had only traded once each week for 2 weeks. Strange the ad says it trades in all types of market conditions. Hmmmm. When it does trade, it trades well. I’m sticking with it.

loool…Keith I’m here too
worry not, it’s just that I don’t have that much time lately to do much posting or commenting – that and I do not own Forex Megadroid.
Btw, if you get lonely here visit the Forex Megadroid thread over at Forex Nirvana:

Have you guys noticed how NO ONE here is actually giving their settings out?
What ever happened to the spirit of sharing?
this is a 3 trillion dollar a day market, no one is going to notice even if there are 100,000 people using droid.
So start giving us your settings and experiences with said settings so we can all compare notes and learn from each other.

Dan,
I have played with Megadroid extensively for over 10 weeks on demo accounts, using various dollars and risk factors. The gains were amazing. I saw 27% growth in one week on a $500 account. I left the lots set at 0.1 and changed the risk factor to 0.9…that’s 90% of my money available for investment. The program will automatically scale the lot sizes starting around 0.19 and increasing gradually as the accout grows. you can scale back once the account hits $1,500 as you don’t always want to hand it all out there.
Now that I have gone Live, Megadroid has done hardly any trading…twice in three weeks. the ad says performs in all markets…bull.
I notice no one shares their settings either. I just finally have some to share. maybe others are embarassed…I know some are shaking their head and saying that I am putting to much out there at that risk level. i have seen 48 demo trades, all with profit, so I have the trust…now if it just traded.
Megadroid says the market is to unstable to trade right now and to be patient. Others are making money and thsi is supposed to be the best…frustrating.

Well, Megadroid has only traded a couple of times since my last post. Actually it fired off three times one day. All this week…nothing. I have been bugging them about revising the bot to perform better. They said they are coing out with a version before August, mostly to handle new rules from NFA regulators. Bullsh*t they don’t keep the bot tuned.
They are coming out with Megadroid Premium or something like that. Crapy part is that we owners of Megadroid have to pay to buy the ungraded bot. So now you know what they have been doing instead of tuning their bot. I afraid they have taken the money and want to take more. While we have not been making money. I mentioned the lack of trading to them and got a reply that the market is to bumpy and I should be glad Megadroid is not losing my money. Bull crap, busy working on new bot to take more money. We should be getting the upgrade free. So much for customer support.
The Megadroid guys told me they are buying a copy of FAP Turbo Evolution. Can’t believe they support the competition. Now FAP Turbo Evo is chumy with Megadroid and they are offering both softwares together…..weird.
Still don’t like lame excuses and poor customer loyalty. We’ll see how the next version does. Hope the NFA hasn’t screwed us to much.

Well, this blog seems dead, no other posters, no sharing, just me. This is my last entry.

Sorry about that Keith. It does seem that not too many people are commenting on this post. I think though a better place to discuss forex megadroid would be this thread on the forex nirvana forum:

I bought Megadroid a couple months ago and have been doing some testing on a demo account and some very conservative trading on a live account. I too have found that the droid won’t trade very often, so what I found I can do to get around that is to change the GMT offset value. The droid seems to trade during a specific period of time, so adjusting that period via the GMT offset seems to make it trade more often. I will open a trade window and use the default GMT, then another window with a default-2 setting, another with a default+4 setting, etc. Of course, I turn off the autoGMT setting for each window. The other windows trade MUCH more often than the default. Has anyone else used that approach?

That may not be such a good idea. There is a reason it trades during a particular “time window” and if you force it to trade outside that it may negatively affect performance.
I don’t see why people are in such a rush to get more trades – more trades not not necessarily equal better performance.
September 18th, 2009 at 4:47 pm
Granted, and I understand that. However there has been a lot of comments about the lack of trading that the droid does with the default settings and I simply offer this as a possibility. In one week, for example, my live account running the default GMT earned a paltry 11.00 with one trade. During the same period the demo account running 3 modified GMT settings made over 300.00 with 12 trades, one of which was a loser. But, the losing trade was made up by the recovery mode the next day. That’s an 83% success rate on the demo account, which isn’t all that bad. At this point, I see no compelling reason not to move a few of these over to the live account. But I can be talked out of it!

Well Dennis I won’t talk you out of it – it’s your money after all. But I would suggest you use other people as a sort of sounding board to see if anyone else has tried this and if so how the experience went.
I suggest visiting the Megadroid forum link below:
