Hello fellow forex traders. I hope your trading is going well. If you’re a regular visitor to my blog you may remember that a while back I made a post (over here) about the US ECN broker -MB Trading- introducing their new MetaTrader 4 platform offering. At the time their MT4 platform was in the early beta stages. I demo tested it and played around with it as much as I could and came across a few bugs myself. I remember thinking to myself that I’d put up with almost any software bugs just to get the amazingly low spreads! As time dragged on I was beginning to lose faith and thought that they’d never succeed in bringing the MT4 platform to market. I’m glad my pessimism was unjustified!
I’m glad to report that MB Trading’s MT4 platform is now accepting live accounts.
I’ve been waiting for this for a long time, and I for one plan to open up a live account ASAP. I intend to consolidate all my “bucket shop” MT4 account into one MB Trading MT4 account. My EAs will especially benefit from the very low spreads MB Trading offers. For example, just two days ago I purchased an EA called Forex Megadroid and it needs low spread in order to function properly and profitably. Another example is the FapTurbo EA that I’ve been using for quite some time now. It’s profitable for me so far but not as profitable as it could be because at the moment I’ve got it running on an IBFX account which has high spreads on the pairs it trades on – that and IBFX further widens the spread during the time the EA is active! As a result the EA does not trade as often as it should if it had decent spreads to work with.
This nonsense shall happen no more once I jump on over to the MB Trading MT4 platform. I’ll be paying a commission per trade but heck I’ll take that any day to avoid the bucket shops.
That about does it for my makeshift news release. To demo test the MB Trading MT4 platform or to open a live account visit their website over here.
I wish you all happy and profitable trading!
Alan out.

I’m very happy with their live MT4 platform performance..I’ve had one rather weird issue on a demo account where the price feed spiked down several THOUSAND pips, but nothing like that on my live account.
In regards to the mt4 demo problem see this thread:
